About Proudly Paranormal
I believe in the paranormal. I also believe we don’t have to be serious about it every minute.
As an evidential psychic medium, energy worker, and paranormal teacher, the paranormal isn’t just an interest for me—it has been a meaningful part of my life and work for many years. I approach it with curiosity, respect, an open mind, and whenever appropriate, a healthy sense of humor.
That’s the spirit behind Proudly Paranormal.
About Kathy
I’m Kathy Phelps, and Proudly Paranormal is the lighter, more playful side of the work I do through Taking Notice Now. I’m an evidential medium, psychic, hypnotist, energy practitioner, workshop facilitator, and life-long student of the paranormal, with a B.A. in Psychology.
Paranormal education is one of my passions. I believe the paranormal is a very normal part of life—it doesn’t have to be frightening or sensationalized. I enjoy helping people better understand their own experiences, separate paranormal fact from fiction, and explore how greater awareness of the unseen can enrich everyday life.
I take this work seriously, and I have tremendous respect for the people who trust me to be part of their experiences. But I don’t believe we have to take ourselves seriously all the time.
This shop was created for people who believe there is more to this world than what we can see, touch, or easily explain—and who aren’t afraid to have a little fun with it. The designs here celebrate the strange, spooky, spiritual, unexplained, and wonderfully weird sides of the paranormal.
The humor is never meant to ridicule the paranormal, the people who experience it, or the beliefs surrounding it. Quite the opposite. We’re laughing from inside the paranormal world, not at it. Sometimes the things we experience are profound. Sometimes they’re comforting. Sometimes they’re downright strange. And sometimes, they’re funny.
Proudly Paranormal is about embracing all of it with curiosity, respect, humor, and maybe just a little bit of mischief.
Because believing in something extraordinary doesn’t mean you can’t have fun with it.
And me? I consider myself Very Normal Paranormal.
